June 24, Jim & Sally , Richard & Debby , Steve & Karen , Jerry , and Arlan & Mary Ann took their classic cars to the 1st Umatilla Car Show which was in conjunction with the Umatilla Landing Days. Unfortunately, no one won a trophy and no one won any of there great raffle items; however, we all had a lot of fun.
June 23, Arlan & Mary Ann attended the 1st Milton Freewater Car Show; the show was l limited to only 30-35 cars and there were no classes nor awards given.
June 21, There were 15 of us who took a short drive around La Grande and then had lunch at Brickyard Lanes. Those who went were Jim & Sally, Mel, Richard & Debby, Steve & Karen, Ed & Dixie, Gary & Janet, Matt & Nancy, and Arlan & Mary Ann.
June 17, nine of our club members entered their classics in the Lions Club Riverfest Car Show in Elgin, OR. The member who attended were Steve & Kathy Oliver, Doug & Diane Dalton, Jim & Sally Coxen, Richard & Debby Comstock, Charlie Quin, Arlan & Mary Ann Miesner, Ed & Dixie Lund, Jerry Foster and Daniel Arroyo. Only three of our members were lucky to win an award.
June 3, the Eastern Oregon Car Club sponsored the Hog Wild Days Car Show in Island City. Arlan was the only club member to attend and he had a great time at the show. He also very surprised to receive two trophies: Best American car and People’s Choice.
